Hi Everybody!

My name is Gary Alexander and I am the host of the VW Life Goodtime Hour on VDubradio! My history with VW's goes waaaay back to riding in my granpa's lap driving his '63 Single Cab around the dirt roads of Texarkana, Texas! I bought my first VW in 1983, a brand new, black Rabbit GTI! My first air cooled VW was a 1966 Deluxe Sea Blue/Cumulus White Bus. SInce then, I have owned close to 100 other VW's.
I am partial to T1 transporters, Split Window Buses! I was given the name, "the Bus Guru" by a newspaper reporter who did a story about my restorations of buses to help pay for my son Jake's college. So the name sorta stuck.
We have been putting out VW LIFE YouTube videos for around 5 years now, and keep enjoying churning them out. My shop is full of VW's, a 64 Single Cab, a 67 Beetle, a 79 Scirocco and then my 2 daily drivers' Jerry the Bus and Ol Spot!
I love bringing the VW Life Goodtime Hour to everyone. SHaring the stories of others makes me so happy.
